Statistical Analysis

Statistics faculty at Colorado State are involved in a number of research studies related to the environment, including analyses of ecological models used to monitor the carbon cycle, modeling pathways of disease spread by wild birds, ecological responses to human impacts, and more. Faculty are currently engaged in a NASA study designed to better understand the differences between the inventory and inverse modeling approaches for estimating the carbon flux; statistics faculty perform the exploratory data analysis and then use its results to develop a model for the true carbon.
